The work we did
The design of the website was created from scratch in Photoshop. It had to have this oldish, brownish and natural look. That is why we decided to combine wood, paper and serif type. The vine in the top corner adds a welcome touch of freshness.
Conversion to XHTML and CSS was done completely by hand, keeping accessibility and search engine optimization in mind.
The site is database-driven and built upon the great Kohana PHP5 Framework. We developed a custom shopping cart that was seemlessly integrated in the design. We take care of the hosting of the site as well.
